Our testing mobile devices are kept secure in a locked cupboard, but are connected by USB to a host machine.
For the Android devices, we use http://ift.tt/1rhxdbk to view and control them remotely, without having to physically touch them, and http://ift.tt/1JD16YD is available and more sophisticated.
I know I can view the screen of attached iPhones by using QuickTime > New Movie Recording and - without recording - selecting the input source but that only works for newer iPhones, and doesn't allow me to interact with it - for instance, to unlock the screen or whatever. I can run tests remotely, but that only lets me touch controls within my own application.
Is there a solution like the Android ones I mention above, but for iPhones?
I've heard something about fbdriver from Facebook, but I don't think that's been built into a general remote-control.
Thanks
