Is there a modern tool to enforce software architecture? [on hold]

I've recently have come across Macker (http://ift.tt/2olShfQ, http://ift.tt/2oFd55y) but am not able to get it working on a Java 8, Gradle project.

Is there any similar tools out there or has anyone got this tool working and wouldn't mind posting there Ant invoking gradle task here?

Basically what I want to achieve for example is that I can cover with a test, that no developer added imports from the resource layer to the database layer or the other way around.
