Exemplary software projects whose "ecosystem" is worthy of being copied [on hold]

Are there any Python software projects out there (e.g. on github), that are

  • complete in the sense that they employ all the best practices regarding tests, documentation (and license notification), version control, build pipelines etc.
  • yet small enough so that project contents don't obscure the aspects mentioned in the previous bullet.

It's ok if the projects are from widely different domains (data science to web app), as long as their software engineering/management part is impeccable.

I would like to use such examples to teach myself how to better structure my own projects, which are currently a messy pile of code, and give them a sense of professionalism so that I need not be embarrassed when publishing them on github.
