I have heard from BDD (& TDD) perspective RoR and Cucumber is the way to go

1) How does the integration between Cucumber and RoR is done to achieve a BDD driven framework/model?

2) Cucumber and RoR are getting popular day by day as both of these complements each other, I was just curious (with live examples/use cases) to know the reason(s) why?

3) I have just started to explore Test Automation (being from the Manual Testing background and Manual Mobile testing skills but I was a developer initially working in Visual Basic, VBA, SQL Server, etc)? What does it take to get one to accustomed to using Cucumber and RoR for building the test automation framework?

4) Or is there be any pre-requisite (for a person like me) to become an expert using the above combination of Cucumber and RoR?
