How to add an exception to a Firefox profile?

For automated testing, I would like to suppress this error page:

The specific error is:

(Error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer)

This page can suppressed manually by clicking to add an exception, but it would be better to programmatically add the exception to the Firefox profile.

Is there a way to do this? Or to start Firefox in a way that does not show it?
