Intern - The testing tool, can it used to test live web pages

I heard from my boss that he wants me to test web pages using the testing tool called "Intern", anyone use this before?

I want to know can the tool be used to test a live web page, for example, www.google.com and return true if the page have a div with class name "foo" , else return false.

Really no idea what to do with the intern, anyone have experience with that , please advise.

I will look through their website in the meantime.
