Segmentation fault when running a CppUnit Test but there is no fault when running it from a main

I'm having this weird bug. When running a chunk of code from the production code, in the main for example, I have no problems, but when I take that chunk of code and put it in a test using the CppUnit testing framework I get a Segmentation Fault. Is it possible that this error comes from running it from a test?
