Test frameworks like ARC,Postman etc

Are there any opensource test frameworks that can perform API testing (like REST APIs). Output could be JSON/XML/File etc.

Just like Advanced Rest client or Postman takes API name and input and produces output. Is there any framework that can be integrated with JAVA Spring and works in a similar manner.
