Testing Symfony3 best practices

I would like to know which is the best technology for testing symfony apps, My idea is to test all the layers of my application, starting with the database (repository and queries), the services , Controllers and Views, I read about this but I'm not clear which path to follow, I would like to use something like Phpspec or Behat but I wont know how to do this in each of the layers of my application. Thanks in advance
