While designing a HIL test setup, we are able to setup requirements for Inputs and output. But, we are not sure for which pins of simulator FIU,s shall be used. Is it link for all digital Inputs and outputs one should check faults. I am wondering what will happen if I am trying to short each pin of controller to battery and ground. I am new to this, Can someone help me in understanding this.
