I am looking for ideas and direction on how to test (and automate testing) a product that listens to provisioning payloads over a netconf(XML interface), the payloads are sent from a separate controller, and they are given to the controller through a CLI with a pseudo-CRUD nature.
How is such a task approached ? it makes sense to keep creating payloads with different deployment models and then send them over (like Fuzzing) but I'd like to know what is the right way to do this.
