.testsettings does not get copied on the build server

I am fairly new to this topic. I have some specflow tests to run and I need to create the .testsettings file to configure the run. It works fine locally, I added the .testsettings to solution, in Solution Items and it is used. However, when I checkin my changes, the .testsettings file does not get copied on the build server. I need it there so I reference it in the build definition for using it. Any help? Thanks!
