Should you perform a full regression test on interim releases?

Software has been delivered with full FAT etc v1.5.. everyone happy. Customer wants a few extra read-only modules to display some data in v1.8 + few minor bug fixes - do we need do full regression for new release - I want only to test new modules and do a decent checklist / light functional verification test of the whole application.
