Include .inl file in cc_test srcs

I have source files that I want to test with cc_test which include .h and .inl files. In my srcs property, I can add the .h files but adding the .inl files gives me an error:

in srcs attribute of cc_test rule TestString.inl' is misplaced here (expected .cc, .cpp, .cxx, .c++, .C, .c, .h, .hh, .hpp, .ipp, .hxx, .inc, .S, .s, .asm, .a, .lib, .pic.a, .lo, .lo.lib, .pic.lo, .so, .dylib, .dll, .o, .obj or .pic.o)

Is this possible to work around?
