How to validate and show the accuracy of a facebook prophet model

I'm using Facebook prophet to forecast the hourly sales demand of a salon for 24 hours with a very accurate output. However I could not figure out a proper method to view the performance and accuracy of this model. Currently I'm achieving this by manually reducing one day from the dataset and calculating the prediction for the removed day. What is the proper method of validating a prophet model and how can I see the accuracy of it.
