Python integration tests with vROps

I'm developing a python program that uses vROps API.

I want to do integration tests for my program. I need to check if it integrates correctly with vROps.

What should I do to check this? Should I make a mock (REST in flask or django) to vROps? Is it enough?

Or do I need to create my own vROps to achieve it? And if so, how can I do it?
