karma test runner not working on this seed repo from git

i downloaded this angularjs seed : http://ift.tt/1xHpjd8 i installed node.js and i installed using npm karma and jasmine and karma-chrome-launcher and a web server , but when i try to connect karma using the test.bat file found in the scripts folder it doesnt do anything and doesnt launch the chrome with the karma connected page as expected and stated in the book im reading. here is a screenshot of the errors i get when running the batch file test.bat : http://ift.tt/2lyNIPp please help, thanks.
