Upload file to tmp folder in selenium with java

Im trying to add a settings file to the temp folder created in the AppData\Local\Temp\ directory every time the selenium test is run. I cant seem to be able to access the TemporaryFilesystem class to add anything here as its read only.

Anyone have an idea how to do this?
