Coding Large Scale Framework with Ruby instead of C#?

I'll start with a quick introduction:

I'm a Test Automation Engineer with 4 years of experience in C#. My early work with C# was quite simple, as I only coded basic procedural automation tests. With time my coding skills improved and I started focusing my effort in writing Automation Frameworks. Writing frameworks required me to dive deeper into more in-depth coding concepts like Object Oriented and Generalization and I'm still in process of learning new things daily. I'm currently looking for a new job and a lot of the jobs offered to me are Ruby oriented. There is a big hype around Ruby those days, but I'm not sure if scripting language is something that can work when building large scale frameworks (I have no experience with scripting languages). On the other hand, scripting languages feels something that goes more hand to hand with Automation, as most test-cases are very procedural at core. Is it possible to maintain generic framework with scripting languages or to be more specific ruby? is migrating from C# to Ruby is a smart career move? I would like to hear your opinion, especially from people who did migrating from one language to the other.
