How can I test my website to see firsthand what users in China experience?

My web app has a large Chinese audience and I would like to be able to test releases as if I were using from mainland China.

Is this possible by VPNing into (rather than out of which is usually the case) a Chinese network? Or perhaps there is a service like Browserstack with accessible VMs running in China?
