I want to access database which from webserver

I want to test database which is currently hosted on bigrock website. I don't know how to configure database to access it.I can't get hosting username and password but I can get ip address, database user name and password. Is it possible to configure connection in myphpadmin, sql or any application. I am very new to it. Please tell me asap.
