What is the Sonar substitute for api/tests?

Sonar api/tests is deprecated since 5.2 version. But documentation does not explain the reason and its substitute.

At least i didn't find it. I'm in 6.4.

I'm able to use it but i want to know if exists a new good way to get this information.
