Handling Database Connection Error during Testing

I'm testing an application with Siesta , sometimes while tests are executing , a database connection error comes up , and all the tests fail . i tried to ignore the errors just by canceling them , but it happens only the first time and doesn't work after that for second time , is there any idea about how to handle them in a better way ?
