crnk - springboot: testing: how to test controllers when they are automatically created?

I need to test a springboot application using crnk, where controllers are 'automatically' created.

I'm new to crnk and it's being hard to know how to retrieve the controller for a resource in isolation (or the equivalent classes)

Any clue or explanation how crnk works at this level will be much appreciated
