Cucumber doesn't generate testreports when test fails

So i'm doing some testing with TestNG and with Cucumber. If all tests pass (and the build is thus success) a cucumber-report is generated (it appears after the build in the folder structure).

But when a test fails, and the build fails, no report is generated.

This question could be solved in two ways 1) Is there a way I can let my maven build always succeed even if there's a test fail 2) How can I generate cucumber-test-reports when there are test failures.
