Alternative sample webservice like TeaStore

for my master thesis in computer science, I'm searching for a sample microservice for Kubernetes auto-scaling purposes. I found some like TeaStore and SockShop but they are not quite lightweight. Even if every service just has two pods, my 16GB RAM are almost fully used. But for my thesis, I have to be able to scale it to 5-8 pods each.

Best case scenario would be a sample microservice consisting of just one pot, which uses CPU and memory resources, that simulates some kind of real-world use (and has a paper or documentation about it).

Does someone have any suggestions?
