Three groups equivalence testing in R

I want to test whether 3 versions of a battery of items are equivalent in terms of factor loadings and means - the measurement equivalence testing.

My dataset has one categorial variable split, which defines the three batteries of items, and 7 variables pertaining to measured items, each called, say, f01, f02 etc. Some of the f0_ have na, some don't.

Each of the f01_ items were thus measured across all split categories.

When I try to run measurement invariance test using eqMI.main from package equaltestMI I get the following error:

Error in (function (..., lamb0 = NULL) : projection method only applies to two groups with this function

I am not sure what can I do in this case, since if I am to perform the same analysis but only for 2 groups (say on gender) everything works just fine.
