Cucumber error codes

I can't find any information about that, but does cucumber return more than one type of error codes? After success it returns 0 and when tests are failing, 1. The thing is, that i use -f rerun on circleci to rerun failing specs after all. I don't want cucumber -f rerun to break the build, so I use exit 0 at the end. The problem is, cucumber can fail from other reason than executing failing specs. I would like to distinguish these scenarios. Is there any way to do that?
