storm-lib/src/jvm/storm/TestingApiDemo.java has not worked for topology needed serializers

I have already asked the question apache storm user group. Ref. Has anybody tried TestingApiDemo#testBasicTopology with a topology needed Serializers? I have tried one but could not make it running. It seems the serializer registrations have not affected the topology I ran. Can anybody help me out finding my problem?
