I'm adding various social network buttons to a small, static website I'm developing. There isn't a large enough budget to purchase a staging site.
The official implementations for the buttons from each social network load in various different ways, and the only one that seems to successfully load locally is Twitter's implementation.
See each link for the different implementations, and please note I'm trying to use the HTML5 option for the Facebook button. I'm only able to get the <iframe> option working on jsFiddle though.
- Google's +1 Button Documentation
- Twitter's Tweet / Follow Button Generator
- Facebook's Like / Recommend and Share Buttons Generator
- LinkedIn's Follow Company Button and Share Buttons Generators
I have tried in jsFiddle and Code Pen, but due to needing to place elements in the head and body, I'm unable to get the buttons to load.
Apart from the Tweet button, and the <iframe> version of Facebook's button, I cannot get the others to load so that I can visually position them well in my web design and verify that they're functioning as expected. I can wait to fulfil the second requirement, but I really need to complete the design asap, and cannot spend much time on tweaks once it goes live, due to the budgetary constraints.
Can anybody suggest a way for me to load these buttons in a local or online testing environment?
