Test Enviroment GitHub Recommendation

I am developing a website for public access with many thousand visitors per day.

In the near future I want to collaborate together with other programmers. I want to use GitHub for this.

I don't just want to develop local, I also want to test on a live server with public access via password.

My questions below:

• What do you think is the best way to setup a live test enviroment - for every test person one new private repository, or just a different branch?


• Should I develop on a different server then the server which is hosting the website for public access? (e.g. to avoid problems with Google Search Ranking)
