Can we describe multiple test scenarios from one test case ? explain it with example

we can write multiple test cases from one test scenario but can we do vice versa test scenario is overall explanation about a process or a goal and test cases is for achieving that goal we divide process in small executable part is it correct ? and ans my question as well :-P
