We are newbies to TFS and one of the things we noticed was that you can mark an overall test case as passed without giving a reason or having any specific authority
So you can get part the way through marking test steps as passed and either forget to complete all the or mark the wrong test case as passed
We noticed you can mark a test case as passed if test steps have failed , we are OK as long as a reason is given
We noticed a test case can be marked as passed even if no test steps are run , this is a bit of NO, No
If the test case is run all steps passed and test case marked as passed , if you add more test steps to the test case , it still shows as being passed ??
We outsource testing and need to do a supervisor review prior to marking a test as passed
Question is their a way of doing this , forcing comment or restricting ability to mark a test case as passed
