Best application testing tools in the market for Webscraping project

We need to implement the security testing for our project which is basically a program which execute only in back end to scrape the details from webpages. There is no application / UI build in it. We are fine with the static security testing, but bit confused in selecting the tools/application for testing.

We are verifying Checkmarx, Veracode etc,, But mostly every tools are used for the purpose of application testing. Since my program are only the back end code with no UI, which would be best option for me..

Any suggestion and what is the benefits of it.
