How does pytest collect tests (in which row)

I was wondering in which row does py.test collect tests (alphabet row ex. first the test_a.py module , than test_r.py module ,test_za.py ...), or maybe date of creation of the test modules ? And can you change that, in a way to put some module to execue first ?
