testing c++ using existing benchmarks

I am relatively new to this. I have a C++ code that operates on a specific form of files and I want to test it using some well-known benchmarks like delta-blue Richards... Any idea on how to link everything and start testing the code? I have read pretty much everything in the GitHub repositories of these benchmarks and I still can't seem to know where to start.
