Questions about my app idea from Wordpress to the mobile

I am new to Stackoverflow.

I am looking to create an app where it get information from Wordpress.

Example. lets say in my website (wordpress), I have a contact form when the users click on the submit button my app will get the form.

Here is the question. Will I need a script in my WP website that catches the information. After the app is build how can it be received from WP.

Is this even possible?
