I need to create a test program for python

I have a python program which needs 5 inputs and then, it prints 2 outputs I need to create a program, that would test this program (not necessarily in python), this test program should automatically input the code (like if I typed it) and that it will read the result and check it, with the result it has saved somewhere, after it will test various inputs it will return the check result to some file; I only need to know, how can I create program, that can insert that input into python program and than read output (print) from python prog.
