while creating custom command for command prompt shell script is not taking the commands

adb shell mCurrentFocous- (dumpsys window windows | grep -E ‘mCurrentFocus’) mFocousedApp- (dumpsys window windows | grep -E ‘mCurrentFocus’)

i created a notepad with this much content and pasted it in the windows/system32 folder. while running it shows adb shell command and comes under it. But it is not entering mcurrentfocus or mfocusedapp command. These are for finding app package automatically.. please help
