Why I have use waitForAngularEnabled in my specs scripts with Protractor?

i have a system in Angular using the Fuse Theme, but i only can test this software using the code "browser.waitForAngularEnabled(false)" in my protractor spec.

If I don't use this code, my script stay waiting a response the Angular Site.

My question is: why i have use this code for work with my scripts on protractor tests?
