Is it a good idea to manual test parallel different devices

As a software tester, sometimes i need to perform manual testing in different mobile devices and different OS (Android, iOS). What do you suggest, to perform testing each device and OS separately or parallel?

For example, I wand to test a new feature which implemented and I need to test it on iOS and Android. should I do the testing for each OS/device deparately or parallel?
