I am the only tester at the one small project with 12 developers. We are going to go live in a few months with booking project. The stack of technology that in use is quite modern: node js, elastic, canary releases - you name it. But testing is almost absent at the project, except manual. Is there are any excuse do not do unit testing in 2020? As well as proper integration and API testing. Should A/B testing be the only one testing activities?
From my experience and from testing theory (like automation testing pyramid) is it crucial to do proper testing.
