Need to get previous test step name executed in Tosca

I have a situation where if my test case somehow fails and goes to recovery/cleanup scenario, I need the test step name of the step which caused the flow to transfer to the recovery/cleanup scenario. I cannot set a buffer every time for the test step getting executed in my flow. I tried using testaction.parent.name and testaction.logname but the previous gives me the test case name and the latter one gives me the current step name and not the previous one that caused the recover/cleanup.

Is there an efficient way to achieve this.
