Deciding architecture and technology for very basic test automation?

Right now I have a python script that runs tests for a piece of hardware and outputs the test results and the corresponding metrics for each test. I want to be able to automate the data from these tests so that they will be stored somewhere in the cloud, without the need for me to input them in a spreadsheet by hand. I'm not to sure where to even look in terms of technologies, both for storing the data in the cloud and also injecting some code within the python script that sends relevant data. Thanks in advance!
