very simple XMPP load testing

Looking for the simplest of load testing for an XMPP server revamp. We literally need to verify we can handle 1500 concurrent users on a new mongooseim stack, no rooms, no special features outside of TLS.
Is there a supported tool out there that can handle this simply. What I'm seeing out there are very dated, require no encryption, or fairly intense programming.
