Does anyone know of a good framework, or technique, to test API failures generated by internal system failures, as opposed to external input errors?
I feel like this is a standard thing to do, and I've heard people talk about doing this in an automated way, but I just don't know where to start.
For some specifics, I'm working in Java Tomcat and Spring Boot applications, using external API tests.
