Test Automation Framework for Window application using Java

I have made use of AWT Robot(https://docs.oracle.com/javase/7/docs/api/java/awt/Robot.html) in our JAVA RCP application to perform 'Type' action on WIN32 controls i.e Desktop applications on windows. I am looking for other alternatives/frameworks that would be a best fit in my case apart from AWT Robot. Any valuable suggestion will help.
