I know, threads about looking are here not very liked, but this is the only place, where i can expect a skilled answer. My workflow for the wanted tool is:
- i create test rules, which are mostly about string occurrence or missing string in the website, its source code (header+body), http status code and url.
- I create a project (add a website url for test) and apply the rules set to it,
- Then i run the rules set once (or more then once) and get a (downloadable) report about matching and mismatching rules and matching and mismatching details.
- Then i create new test project with or without deleting the previously created.
The possible tests are like:
- whether the html header contains link rel="canonical", meta robots with or without noindex directive,
- whether the body contains H1-heading,
- does the H1-heading contain the same words as page's title and so on.
Like i said, tests are mostly about presence or missing of string in the source code.
I located two online tools, they do the task just in parts and not satisfy me: testomato and nerdydata:
- testomato forces me to create rules for each new tested site again (there would be too much manual work),
- nerdydata doesn't let me create rules at all - i would be forced to manually input testing criteria for each test again.
The tool i imagine could be a source code crawler or a testing tool: could somebody point me into right direction?
Thank you
