UI Test mobile, which tool would you recommend?

I am developing native apps either for Android and iOS devices. And I would like automate my UI test for both systems.

I have seen that both XCode and Android Studio have recently made huge improvements on their testings tools. And I have seen some other options like Appium or Xamarin (calabash), but I am still not convinced on which tool I should use.

What would you recommend?
