Is there a way to accelerate simulator while running testng tests with java and using appium?

I'm using appium with ios simulator in order to run my tests in ipad simulator. The loading takes a lot of time let's say it's about : 3 minutes to open the app to test.

I wonder to know if there is a way to accelerate that or it's normal ?
